Correct Your Record with Proof: A Streamlined Process

Recroid's 'Correct your record with proof' feature allows students to update their records with verified information, ensuring accuracy and reducing errors.

Recroid offers a practical solution for students who need to correct errors in their placement records. Whether it's a misspelt name, an incorrect CGPA, or a backlog that was cleared, these common issues can now be addressed directly by the student.

How It Works

Students can flag a specific field in their roster record that needs correction. They simply state what the field should be and attach the necessary proof, such as a marksheet or official letter. This information is then reviewed by a placement officer in the department.

The officer has two options: accept the correction, which updates the record and marks the field as verified, or send it back with a note for further clarification. Importantly, no changes are made to the record until the officer approves the correction.

Why This Matters

This feature was built to address the frequent visits students make to placement offices to correct such errors. By allowing students to initiate corrections and provide proof directly, the process becomes more efficient and transparent. It reduces the administrative burden on placement officers and ensures that student records are accurate and verified.

How to Use It

Students can easily access this feature by registering or logging into their Recroid account. Once logged in, they can navigate to their roster record, flag the field that needs correction, and upload the supporting documents. This straightforward process empowers students to take control of their records, ensuring they accurately reflect their achievements.
