Terms of Service

By creating an account on Recroid (“Platform”, “Service”) or by accessing any part of the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Velozent Technologies (“Recroid”, “we”, “us”). For organisations, the individual who accepts these Terms represents that they have authority to bind the organisation.

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Recroid.
• You must provide accurate and truthful information during registration.
• Your account is personal and non-transferable.
• One individual may not maintain multiple accounts unless explicitly permitted.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at security@recroid.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or remain inactive for an extended period.

You may use the Platform for lawful recruitment and job-seeking purposes. You must not:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent job listings or profiles
• Harvest or scrape data from the Platform
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, account, or data
• Use the Platform to send unsolicited messages (spam)
• Discriminate in hiring based on protected characteristics under applicable law
• Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Use AI or automated tools to impersonate human activity without disclosure

Your content: You retain ownership of content you upload (resumes, job descriptions, scorecards). By uploading content, you grant Recroid a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, and use it to operate the Service.

Platform content: All platform design, code, AI models, and Recroid branding are the exclusive property of Velozent Technologies and may not be reproduced without written consent.

AI-generated content: Content generated by Recroid's AI features (job descriptions, cover letters, interview prep) is provided as a draft only. You are responsible for reviewing and ensuring accuracy before use.

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Recroid offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as stated in a separate enterprise agreement.

We may change pricing with 30 days' written notice. Continued use after the effective date of a price change constitutes acceptance.

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. RECROID DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY PARTICULAR HIRING OUTCOME WILL RESULT FROM USE OF THE PLATFORM.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RECROID'S LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE FEES YOU PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ₹5,000, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Recroid, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

Either party may terminate the relationship at any time. You may delete your account from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts for cause (violation of these Terms) with immediate effect, or without cause with 30 days' notice.

Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. We will retain and delete data per our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with arbitration seated in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek injunctive relief from a competent court.

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
