Key Responsibilities
Wealth Management & Advisory
Provide strategic oversight for the development and implementation of tailored wealth management solutions, including portfolio construction, estate planning, tax optimisation, and alternative investments.
Conduct regular reviews of client portfolios to ensure alignment with financial goals, risk tolerance, and market conditions.
Collaborate with internal and external experts to deliver holistic advice on investments, insurance, philanthropy, and succession planning.
Ensure all advisory activities adhere to regulatory requirements and the firm’s ethical standards.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain trusted relationships with high-net-worth clients, serving as their primary point of contact for all wealth management needs.
Lead client onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless transition and clear understanding of services and expectations.
Proactively address client queries, concerns, and feedback, delivering timely and effective solutions.
Organise and lead regular client meetings, portfolio reviews, and educational sessions to foster engagement and loyalty.
Business Development & Growth
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the private wealth client base and increase assets under management.
Develop and execute targeted marketing and networking initiatives to attract new clients and enhance the firm’s market presence.
Leverage referrals, partnerships, and industry events to build a robust pipeline of potential clients.
Collaborate with product and marketing teams to develop and promote innovative wealth management solutions.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for client portfolios, team activities, and business development efforts.
Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of client reports, investment commentary, and regulatory disclosures.
Analyse portfolio performance, client satisfaction data, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Present business and performance updates to senior management and relevant committees.
Risk Management & Compliance
Ensure all wealth management activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with client portfolios, investment strategies, and market developments.
Work closely with compliance, legal, and risk teams to address regulatory changes and uphold best practices.
Foster a culture of compliance, transparency, and responsible investing within the team.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (Master’s/CFA/CFP preferred).
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in private wealth management, financial advisory, or related roles.
Proven track record in managing high-net-worth client relationships and delivering tailored wealth solutions.
Strong understanding of investment products, financial planning, and regulatory frameworks.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
