Job Summary The Officer, System Administrator is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of IT systems that support healthcare operations. This role focuses on maintaining and optimizing the performance of servers, networks, and software applications critical to healthcare delivery. By proactively monitoring systems, troubleshooting issues, and implementing upgrades, the Officer ensures seamless IT operations that enable healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. Responsibilities Administer and maintain IT systems, including servers, networks, and software applications, to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement proactive solutions to prevent disruptions in healthcare operations. Ensure the security and integrity of IT systems by applying patches, updates, and best practices for cybersecurity and data protection. Collaborate with IT teams and healthcare staff to troubleshoot technical issues, provide support, and implement system improvements. Develop and maintain documentation for IT policies, procedures, and system configurations to ensure compliance and knowledge sharing.
