Senior Plumbing Designer

This Opportunity Join WSP and contribute to designing innovative plumbing systems for complex building projects. We are seeking a Plumbing Designer who is passionate about delivering high-quality, sustainable solutions that meet client objectives and industry standards. Your Impact Assist in the design and layout of plumbing systems for facilities projects, including potable water, sanitary, storm, and specialty systems. Prepare detailed drawings and cost estimates using AutoCAD and Revit. Regularly review and apply client-specific and internal drafting standards to ensure full compliance and consistently high‑quality deliverables. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other disciplines to ensure coordinated and efficient designs. Understand and strictly follow established quality control protocols—ensuring all drafting work complies with documented QA/QC procedures, verification steps, and corrective‑action requirements. Support project development from concept through construction, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. Incorporate future-ready solutions and sustainable practices into plumbing designs. Participate in site surveys and inspections to verify existing conditions and support design accuracy. Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and best practices in plumbing design. Who You Are Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED 9+ years of experience in plumbing design for building systems. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; familiarity with plumbing codes and standards. Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications : Bachelor’s Degree in closely related discipline is preferred. Essential professional licensure/certification. Experience with Healthcare, industrial, pharma, tech, or large-scale commercial facilities. #LI-LB1
