PIM Data Engineer

Role Summary The PIM Data Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Product Information Management (PIM) solutions to ensure high-quality, accurate, and consistent product data across digital channels. The role involves data integration, transformation, governance, and optimization of product content to support eCommerce, marketing, and customer experience initiatives. Key Responsibilities Design and implement data models, workflows, and integrations within the PIM platform (Akeneo, Informatica P360). Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, cleanse, transform, and synchronize product data from multiple source systems. Define and enforce data quality, governance, validation, and stewardship processes. Develop scalable solutions for product hierarchy, taxonomy, attributes, and catalog management. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize PIM data processing and integration performance. Collaborate with business, product, and engineering teams to understand data requirements and support product onboarding initiatives. Create technical documentation, data mappings, and integration specifications. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. Strong experience with PIM platforms, preferably Akeneo PIM . Experience in data modelling, ETL/ELT development, and data integration. Proficiency in SQL and one or more programming languages (Java, Python, or Node.js). Experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and event-driven integrations. Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP). Understanding of product catalog management, taxonomy, and master data management concepts. Preferred Qualifications Exposure to Snowflake, Databricks, or modern data platforms. Knowledge of eCommerce product lifecycle and omnichannel content delivery. Experience with CI/CD, Git, and DevOps practices.
