The teams are transforming Operations through Tech and Analytics.* *Do You Dream Big?* *We Need You.* **Job Description** **Job Title:** *Senior Machine Learning Engineer* **Location:** *Bangalore (Onsite)* **Reporting to:** *Senior Manager* **PURPOSE OF ROLE** *The Marketing GenAI Team at Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev) is focused on building and scaling AI-powered solutions that enable business users to extract actionable insights from enterprise data.* *As part of this team, you will work on improving, extending and scaling an in-house Gen AI insights product by customizing LLM behavior, integrating enterprise data systems, and improving its reliability in real-world scenarios.* **KEY TASKS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES***.* - Own the technical design and implementation of business-facing GenAI solutions built on top of the *in-house Gen AI insights product* - Customize and optimize LLM behaviour through prompt engineering, context engineering, model selection, structured outputs, and evaluation-driven improvement. - Evaluate the capabilities of the core AI product and identify opportunities to improve its usability, extensibility, reliability, and adoption across business domains. - Translate business questions into structured analytical logic and AI workflows, and develop and maintain analytical tools using Python and SQL. - Use observability and evaluation tools such as Langfuse to diagnose system behavior, trace agent workflows, analyze failures, and continuously improve production performance. - Partner closely with the core product team to communicate business requirements, identify product gaps, validate new capabilities, and influence the product roadmap. - Proactively identify technical risks, dependencies, and opportunities for simplification, automation, and reuse across AI initiatives. - Leverage version control tools like Git for collaborative development, code management, and maintaining reproducibility of models. - Stay current with advances in foundation models, agentic architectures, evaluation techniques, AI engineering practices, and enterprise GenAI platforms, and assess their relevance to the organization. - Contribute to the technical strategy and long-term evolution of the organization’s AI capabilities by balancing innovation, business value, operational reliability, and responsible AI practices. **QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS** **Education:** - *Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in* in *Computer Science, Engineering* *or equivalent experience.* **Experience:** - *Minimum 5 years in a relevant field such as [Data Strategy / Business Analytics / L&D / Tech Transformation].* **Technical/Functional Skills:** *(Mention any technical, functional or tool related skill in this section)* **Mandatory Skills:** - *Python programming– **Advanced*** - *LangChain and LangGraph – **Advanced*** - *Prompt engineering and context engineering – **Advanced*** - *Git – **Advanced*** - *Understanding of agentic design patterns and workflow orchestration – **Intermediate*** - *RAG, embeddings, semantic search – **Intermediate*** - *Working with Databricks and modern data platforms – **Intermediate*** - *Experience with Langfuse - **Intermediate*** **Preferred (Good to have) Skills:** - *Product Analytics – **Beginner*** - *Docker and containerized development– **Beginner*** *And above all of this, an undying love for beer!* *We dream big to create a future with more cheers*.
