If you’re excited by solving hard problems and want to build systems that make a real difference for customers, Fidelity is a great fit for you.   The Role   We’re looking for curious, driven software engineers who want to build innovative solutions and challenge the status quo.  In this role, you will:   Explore innovative technologies, including AI tools, and learn how to responsibly use them in your work to deliver cutting-edge capabilities and services for our customers   Work on real projects from start to finish - across the full software development lifecycle including requirements, design, development, testing and deployment  Build scalable applications and features using modern programming languages, traditional and newer database platforms, integration technologies (APIs, messaging) and user interfaces/front-end frameworks   Write code, test it and deploy it with support from your team – leveraging standardized and automated software development pipeline practices and technologies that safely and securely move your code from development to production  Work as part of an engineering team obsessed with delivery solutions that help our customers achieve their long-term financial goals   The Expertise and Skills You Bring   4+ years working as a software engineer  Strong problem-solving and analytical skills  Communicates clearly, asks thoughtful questions, and collaborates to improve delivery  Curiosity, asking great questions and a passion for fast and continuous learning  Embraces feedback, adapts to change, and continuously improves skills  Approaches challenges with curiosity, resilience, and a growth mindset   Owns deliverables, meets commitments, follows best practices, and seeks guidance as needed   Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns for scalable, resilient systems   Proven experience with at least one language such as Python, Node, Java, etc.  Experience working with GenAI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Gemini, Claude etc.  Hands-on experience with a cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including deploying, configuring, or running applications  Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues.
