Be a force for good and transform your potential into something extraordinary.
As an Agentic AI Intern at Nestlé Research , your mission will be to explore how Agentic AI and Large Language Models can contribute to the next generation of digital early warning systems.
You will investigate how autonomous AI agents can identify and analyse emerging signals from large-scale, unstructured external information, such as scientific literature, regulatory publications, news, patents and digital media. Working with domain experts, you will develop and evaluate proof-of-concept approaches that can discover relevant entities and relationships, gather evidence and support the identification of novel emerging signals.

Review state-of-the-art research in Agentic AI, autonomous reasoning and knowledge discovery, and benchmark emerging approaches against existing information extraction and signal detection capabilities
Design and develop proof-of-concept autonomous AI agents and workflows for signal detection, relationship discovery and evidence gathering
Explore how Agentic AI can identify relevant entities, associations and emerging signals from large-scale, unstructured external information
Define and apply validation strategies to assess the relevance and reliability of outcomes produced by autonomous agents
Collaborate with domain experts to define early warning use cases, investigate emerging signals and translate requirements into proof-of-concept solutions
What will make you successful
Student or recent graduate from a Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence or a related field
Strong knowledge of Generative AI and Agentic AI, combined with solid Python programming and data-processing skills
Interest in applying AI to scientific and early warning challenges; a basic understanding of food safety or chemistry is an advantage
Experience working in Unix environments is an advantage; exposure to knowledge graphs, ontology engineering or linked data concepts is also beneficial
