PVT Engineer Body Exterior

Join Ford’s Product Development organization as a Plant Vehicle Team Engineer based at Dearborn Truck Plant, supporting the F-150. In this role, you’ll help ensure the quality and performance of body exterior trim, ornamentation, and front- and rear-end systems as vehicles move through the manufacturing process. Working closely with manufacturing, product development engineering, and supplier teams, you’ll be a first line of defense for vehicle quality—identifying issues on the plant floor and warranty, investigating root causes, and driving timely, effective solutions. You’ll turn real-world assembly and vehicle feedback into improvements that strengthen product quality, build consistency, and customer satisfaction. Through hands-on problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration, you’ll help continuously raise the bar for F-150 quality.
