Assistant Manager

Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities for External Reinsurance operations across multiple Property & Casualty (P&C) entities. Prepare and review GL, subledger, payment tracker, and profit share reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness. Record and validate journal entries related to ceding commissions, IBNR, premium allocations, reinsurance settlements, and intercompany transactions. Manage reinsurer invoice reconciliations, settlement requests, collateral analyses, and Letters of Credit activities. Support Schedule F, BEA reporting, statutory filings, cash flow projections, recoverable reporting, and other regulatory submissions. Prepare BlackLine account reconciliations and audit support documentation for internal, external, and statutory audits. Analyze reinsurance balances, identify discrepancies, and coordinate resolution with accounting, finance, and reinsurance stakeholders.
