Lead - BD & Facilities

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Lead - Facilities to join our organization in Goa, India. In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee all aspects of facility operations, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained work environment. You will lead a team of facility professionals and contractors while managing budgets, implementing strategic initiatives, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, decisive leadership, and a commitment to operational excellence. Oversee daily facility operations, maintenance activities, and general upkeep of all company properties and infrastructure Lead, mentor, and manage facility staff and external contractors, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement Develop, implement, and enforce facility policies, procedures, and safety protocols to ensure compliance with local and national regulations Manage facility budgets, analyze expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety standards Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend asset life Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, service providers, and contractors to ensure quality service delivery Conduct regular facility inspections and assessments to identify potential risks, inefficiencies, or areas requiring improvement Develop and execute facility improvement projects, including upgrades, renovations, and infrastructure enhancements Monitor and analyze facility performance metrics, including energy consumption, maintenance costs, and operational efficiency Prepare comprehensive reports on facility status, maintenance activities, and budget performance for senior management Lead emergency response protocols and ensure business continuity during critical situations Stay current with industry best practices and emerging facility management trends Minimum 7-10 years of progressive experience in facility management or related operations leadership role Proven expertise in managing multi-building or large-scale facility operations Strong knowledge of facility maintenance systems, building infrastructure, and mechanical/electrical systems Demonstrated proficiency in budget management, financial planning, and cost control Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or similar facility management software Solid understanding of safety regulations, compliance standards, and occupational health requirements Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff Strong project management capabilities with experience overseeing facility improvement initiatives Proficiency in vendor management and contract negotiation Exceptional organizational and time management skills Advanced problem-solving and analytical abilities Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal Familiarity with energy management and sustainability practices (preferred) Experience in managing facilities in tropical or challenging climate conditions (preferred) Knowledge of emergency preparedness and business continuity planning (preferred) NA Visit our tech blogs to learn more about some the challenges we deal with: https://medium.com/swiggy-bytes We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, colour, religion, sex, disability status, or any other characteristic protected by the law.
