Position Summary with Job Responsibilities ME Area (Plant / Central) :    Pune CVBU Function :    Technical Services Department :    Manufacturing Engineering Position Level :    Senior Manager (L5) Education Degree in Engg in Electronics & Telecommunications B.E. / B.Tech - Mechanical Engineering / Automobile Engineering Work Experience Job roles & responsibilities:     "• Identifying viable Process, Facility creation, Equipment planning for new project as well as capacity enhancement in the engine Shop & assembly / testing area. • Prepare detailed techno commercial proposals highlighting justification, benefits, estimated payback and cost estimations for discussion / approval of Corporate Planning / Senior  Management based on feasibility. • RFQ preparation, getting Quotation, ordering, DAP, trial at suppliers end & at site for installation & commissioning of facilities.  • Layout planning and layout option workouts / update the changes for future references. • Manage the installation and commissioning of the new equipment in conjunction with the suppliers; ensure adequate training to production and maintenance engineers prior to handover. • Prepare / update Process estimate for existing / new models, PFMEA/PFD/PLM/DPE, Capacity Utilization for Monthly & Yearly production volumes and Knowledge Data Base for the Engine Shop."     "Essential & Desirable Education/Qualifications/ Work experience/technical skills i.e. what are the 'must haves' for this role "     Minimum 5 years of experience and should have good knowledge about engine aggregate Assembly / Testing and facilities planning.     Must Have Skills  :     Desirable Skills  : "• Assembly operations. • Auto Cad • SAP/PLM • MS word/Excel/Projects • ISO/TS Systems "    "• Basic Knowledge of machining and CNC part  programme. • Quality Systems, Inspection methods • MSA • SPC • APQP"   Tata Motors Leadership Competencies Customer Centricity - Anticipating, understanding and focusing efforts on meeting the customer (stakeholders) needs or expectations Developing Self and Others - Recognizing continuous development is essential for success and taking steps to develop self and helping others to excel Driving Execution - Translating strategy into action and execution Leading by Example - Encouraging and following ethical standards Leading Change - Recognizing the need for change, initiating and adapting to change Motivating Self and Others - Inspiring teams and individuals Functional Competencies Tags
