Test Automation Engineer

Role Summary: Lead and scale test automation across modern and legacy platforms, ensuring quality, traceability, and release confidence. Key Responsibilities: • Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks and regression suites. • Build API, integration, end-to-end, and non-functional automated tests. • Integrate quality gates and automation into CI/CD pipelines. • Mainframe experience (COBOL, CICS, JCL, TSO, DB2 or similar). • Define test data strategy and maintain traceable quality evidence. • Identify quality risks early and drive remediation plans. • Define Test strategy and produce Test Project Completion Certificates AI Skills for This Role: • Use AI to propose test scenarios, edge cases, and coverage gaps. • Use AI support for defect triage and regression prioritization. • Generate initial automation scaffolds with AI, then validate and harden them. • Critically review AI-generated assertions and expected outcomes.
